We’re just over two weeks from the start of the NBA season and already story lines are piling up. Will Kevin Durant return to form this year? Is Derrick Rose injury prone? Can the Warriors repeat last year’s sensational season? Is this Tim Duncan’s last season?
While many of those questions will be answered as the season progresses, we can at least answer one question right now: who are the top teams going into the 2015-2016 season? The next slides will give you a glimpse of the ten best teams right now.
10. Chicago Bulls
The biggest change the Bulls made during the offseason was replacing Tom Thibodeau with Fred Hoiberg, the head coach from Iowa State, who spurred a college basketball resurgence in Aimes, Iowa. Derrick Rose’s injury was only a setback for the beleaguered star as he’ll likely return before the start of the season. With the rest of the squad around, there is a decent chance Chicago could be hoisting another trophy in the air.
